The Posteri Community

Nobody told me…

The sentence that starts almost every conversation in our community.

Nobody told me I'd start waking up at 4am for absolutely no reason.

Nobody told me my tolerance for nonsense might disappear first.

Nobody told me I'd question who I was becoming.

Nobody told me sex could change — or change again.

Nobody told me I'd feel more myself, not less.

Nobody told me the words would occasionally just… leave.

Nobody Told Me

Nobody told me I'd start waking at 4am for absolutely no reason. Not hot. Not worried. Just… on. Anyone found anything that helps beyond 'don't look at your phone'?

Dr Nia Ferreira Posteri ExpertDemo profile

Very common in this stage. The most useful first move is a consistent wake time and getting out of bed after ~20 minutes rather than lying there. It stops the brain learning that bed is where we think.

Notebook by the bed changed my life. I write the list, then I'm allowed to stop.

Work & Ambition

Lost a word in a board meeting yesterday and spiralled for four hours afterwards. I've been doing this job for fifteen years. Is anyone else finding the confidence hit worse than the actual fog?

JulesDemo profile

The confidence hit is 90% of it for me. I now write my three points before every meeting and it's genuinely helped.
